Hire a DUI Defense Lawyer

What Will it Cost to Hire a Good Michigan Drunk Driving Defense Lawyer?

We understand that the cost of a DUI attorney is an expense that you weren't really planning on. You certainly didn't expect to get stopped and arrested for drunk driving, DUI, OWI, impaired driving, or OUI. Spending time in jail wasn't quite in your plans either and you never want to see that terrible place again. We can help you!

After your free initial consultation, we'll quote you an attorney fee for your representation. This fee will cover the entire cost of experienced, aggressive, and thorough representation of your Michigan drunk driving case up to trial. We will not inflate the fee by including the price to cover a trial of your DUI, DWI or OUI case because nearly all drunk driving cases are resolved without a trial. If you decide that your case needs to go to trial, we will tell you in advance of the trial how much it will cost for attorney fees based on the complexities of your particular case. You don't make a decision about going to trial immediately. Both of us need much more information before we can make an intelligent decision together about whether or not to have a trial.

Our rates vary due to a lot of factors including the complexity of the case and how many court dates we estimate it will take to work toward a good result for you. However, once we agree to handle your case and we quote you an attorney fee, we will never charge you one penny more, unless your case moves on to trial. In addition, we promise to never surprise you with unexpected fees for outside experts. We discuss all costs of retaining experts with you before they are hired. We will make recommendations to you if we feel you need expert testimony or opinions. You will make the decision about whether to actually bring in and pay for experts to assist you with your case.

We are certainly not the cheapest drunk driving defense firm in Michigan, but it is critical that you understand our DUI defense lawyers are extremely knowledgeable about Michigan DUI, OWI, OUI and impaired driving laws and defense, and we have a record of successfully and aggressively fighting and defending these cases. You'll want to at least speak with us before settling for a lawyer with less experience than our attorneys have gained over decades. There is no cost for the initial consultation. Our telephone number is 1-866-766-5245.

We will be pleased to quickly walk you through the facts of your situation by telephone, with no obligation. Generally, we can begin to get an idea about what your case involves with this brief phone consultation. Understand that this will not be a time when we will give you a complete analysis of your case or provide you with legal advice. Instead, this short phone call will be a time to decide whether we think that we can help you based on the limited information we have exchanged during our phone call. It will also determine whether we should set a meeting to talk more about your case in person.

We will do everything in our ability to get you through this problem as painlessly as possible. Our attorneys handle drunk driving defense cases throughout Mid-Michigan. We defend clients in each court in Ingham County, Eaton County, Clinton County, Jackson County, Ionia County, Livingston County, Barry County, Shiawassee County, Wayne County, Oakland County, Macomb County, Calhoun County, Kent County, Montcalm County and many more throughout the lower peninsula of Michigan. If it is impossible or very difficult for you to come to our main office in Lansing to meet with our defense team, we may be able to confidentially meet with you in your home. Our staff will do its best to accommodate your schedule. We do set up special after-hours consultations by appointment only. You can pay your attorney fees by cash, check, money order, or credit card. Depending on the circumstances, we may be able to agree to a short term, specific payment plan. If you are serious about defending your case, call us today at 1-866-766-5245 for a free initial consultation. You won't know what we can do for you unless you call. If you find you cannot afford the aggressive, competent representation of our firm, we may be able to help you find another attorney more in line with your budgetary needs.

We're confident that we can convince you that retaining a tough DUI lawyer such as those in our firm is absolutely the best move you can make for yourself and your future. We successfully handle many Michigan cases of OWI, impaired driving, drunk driving, OUI and OUID defense throughout Mid-Michigan. We work hard to get you through this difficult time as painlessly as possible.
